Thank you so much for the wonderful work you did transferring our 8mm film. Your work far
excelled anything we could have hoped for. It was a film of the groundbreaking of our church
building over 40 years ago. Most of the people in the film have gone to their reward. The DVD

of natural movement. Several sections of the film were originally so dim that I never expected such a
crystal clear digital look to se secured. Looking forward to dealing with you again in the future.

Wow, what fun. From a quality standpoint, the movies were very watchable, better than I hoped for 35
year old film. The USB hard drive option is fantastic, I hooked up the drive and was watching/editing
the movie as fast as it took to write this. I also can't say enough about your customer service. I very

I did receive my 8mm home movie transfers and they are great! I know you had
to do a lot to clean them up. Using scotch tape to splice is not the best
method, but as 12 year olds that is all we could come up with at the time.I can
not wait to give these as Christmas gifts this year. Have a Happy Holliday!

I am so pleased with my movie transfer! Even though there's probably not a single frame of properly
exposed film, the detail your processing produced is amazing! I love it that there's no flicker and
that the extremely over-exposed shots don't hurt your eyes to look at. There are even details in the
darkness that I never expected to see. I copied the film to DVCPro so that I can edit and play with it
and in slo-mo it is wonderful! Thank you for your premium quality work! I referred you to my uncles.

The transfer your company did of my husband's old football game from 16mm to DVD was GREAT! We
tried to have it done before by someone to VHS tape and it was terrible. I finally got to see him play and

wonderful. It was as if I was watching the game on an origninal 16mm projector! It was well worth the
money to have this done. I hope to hunt down more films by the summer of 2008 to take with me to my
30th class reunion on DVD, Of course, your company will get my business.

My home movies, which are on 8mm film, date back forty years and, because my family are in England,
I'd had videotape copies made when I left to come to the USA so that everybody could have access to
the movies. Unfortunately, the quality of the videotapes was very poor compared with the projected
original film. I was glad when it became possible to make DVDs. I am particularly glad that I chose the
Debanham Media Group to make the transfer because of the unbelievable quality - I cannot detect any
difference between the DVD and the original film projected on to a screen of similar size- and the
color correction is excellent! Congratulations on a job well done!

HDTV. The quality of the picture will blow you away. The colors are much richer and because of the way
the film is scanned, the picture is actually BIGGER. The staff was very helpful and professional. Thank you

distraction, and it's very minor,is that there are sometimes minor changes in exposure a few seconds

Thirty-five years ago,I produced several films of local historical interest, doing the best I could with
super8 on a low budget. There is a renewed and growing interest in these movies because they
captured scenes that are not impossible to recover.
I sent them to the only transfer company I knew about that did not want to go through analog VHS first.
This company thinks of itself as "the best in the world."
The results were far from satisfactory. Automatic controls allow scenes to begin dark and then lighten
after a second or two. Cropping of the frame removes tops of mountains and final letters in titles. Audio
is unbearably poor. When questioned about it, they figured the magnestic soundstrips on my film had
been deteriorated when clearly it was distorted by being recorded at too high a level. They did not seem
to understand that sometimes a knob is better than a mouse. The results were simply too poor for public
viewing.
Then I heard about your service. My son, who has produced and directed TV for PBS, told me your
equiptment and process amounted to the Rolls-Royce of transfer technology. While your fee was nearly
three times what I had paid "the best in the world," I took a chance and sent you one of my films. We did
a side-by-side comparison.
Wow! Exposure levels were steady. Mountain crests have returned to the composition of the frame.
Colors were brilliant. Detail and definition from super8 are beyond expectations. Images are brilliant,
almost glowing.Audio from the old magnetic soundstrip is clear and completely understandable. I can
even hear the old projector running in the backround under voice commentary. A few tweaks on my
computer will render a polished and presentable film for public viewing. I did not think possible. Many
thanks.

a side-by-side comparison.
Wow! Exposure levels were steady. Mountain crests have returned to the composition of the frame.
Colors were brilliant. Detail and definition from super8 are beyond expectations. Images are brilliant,
almost glowing.Audio from the old magnetic soundstrip is clear and completely understandable. I can
even hear the old projector running in the backround under voice commentary. A few tweaks on my
computer will render a polished and presentable film for public viewing. I did not think possible. Many
thanks.

adjustment here and there but the clarity, sharpness, and color were almost as if the film was shot
yesterday--not, as was the case, 70 years ago. Many great memories were, therefore, preserved for our
family.

some of the folks on the film will enjoy these images now and many more in future generations.

I just got my 8mm film to MiniDV transfer. Fantastic!! The quality is great, your service timely. I will

grandparents' wedding day in 1939, I had low expectations. Nobody has been willing or able to do anything with
this film to make it viewable. I reluctantly took a chance by sending you the only copy of this 68 year old film that
hasn't been seen for roughly 30 years.
To my pleasant surprise and beyond my wildest imagination, I not only made the right decision, but the BEST
decision. I was warned the picture would be dark. My hopes of being able to recognize anyone were surpassed
when I was able to recognize everyone! My twin brohter and I actually cried while we played the video over and
over again, as we saw our beloved grandparents, great-grandparents, and great aunts and uncles who are no
longer with us. Out grandfather (the groom) died in 1972, two years before we were born. Our grandmother (the
bride) just turned a young 96 last week. This is part of her birthday gift.
I hope you realize the significance of the wonderful work you do. You are not just transferring movies, but are
taking us on a magical journey through your time machine so that we can bear witness to life's special moments.

was a short scene of my brother and me running a mighty 2 1/2 Johnson outboard on Chautauqua Lake, NY. That
motor was all I could handle, yet the fun we had has never been surpassed.
Last night I set up a test of the regular 8mm film vs. the digitized version. For the test, I used a b&w section,
taken in 1941. I projected the movie onto a sheet of white paper and put a laptop next to the paper. I also
adjusted the pictures to be about the same size.
The digitized version was true black and white, rather than the sepia tone of the original. But, the most
significant things were that the images of the digitized segments were absolutely steady without any jumpy
registration movement--and the digitized versions were sharper, not just from some sort of digitized
processing--you actually can see more detail.

Received the 26 DVDs transferred from the 84 reels of film. Don't know how you did it, but you did a wonderful
job! The museum has had this old film in their possession for a very long time as you might have guessed, and

We received the discs and the film and the work is superior. i have not seen these old films, but my wife was
able to look at these old childhood scenes and they brought back very nice old memories. Great job on some
very old and neglected film. They were living in an old shoe box at a relative's house for three decades.

The hard drive media looks amazing- so does the DV cam. I also love how all of my messy reels of super 8 film
were combined into one big reel. That way when I run the movies in my projector it will be a pleasurable
experience. Thank you so much. I will be ordering another transfer soon.

Beautiful! Better than I had hoped for 8mm film 40 years old. I am very happy with the result. The indoor shots
were dark, but the transfer is faithful to the original, which was filmed indoors using a hand-held floodlight.
It's dark now because it was dark then ;) The colors are as good as my memory.
