Our film transfer supports the original 4:3 aspect ratio of vintage film (no squeezing or cropping). On a 1920 x 1080 monitor the image will fill the entire height of the monitor and have a black bar on the right & left side. |

| File format Recomdations: Motion JPEG-A has a data rate around 100 Million Bits per second & consumes around 50GB of hard drive space per hour. For most applications this is a very good compromise between high images and a reasonable data rate. Motion JPEG-A can be editied in Sony VEGAS 8 PRO, Final Cut PRO, Adobe Permiere PRO and even the latest version of iMovie. |
| The final data rate of your transfer may be lower than listed above depending on the frame rate of your film. All information above is based on 24 frames per second. If your film was shot at 18 frames per second you can expect a proportional decrease in the data rate because there are fewer frames per second. A lower data rate will not damage your picture quality in any way. |
